The Scotty Cameron Detour putter is not your typical looking Scotty Cameron putter. It's really a high-tech looking Newport with an alignment aid coming out the milled port in the back of the club head.
This aid is meant to help golfer with a more true arc shaped putting stroke.
Each frame in the Newport 2 and Newport 2.5 is milled from stainless steel and the traditional lines of the Newport. you combine the convectional Newport with the Detour theory and you get the 2008 line of Detour putters. a much greater improvement over prior years versions.
Each Scotty Cameron Detour putter has a very unique and highly visible orange sight line. This sight line has been developed to show you the exactly line you are supposed to take the club back to have a perfect arc putting stroke.
The Scotty Cameron Detour putter line also has a removable stainless steel back weight allowing a single putter head to work with varying shaft lengths based on player preference.
