Who would have thought that just a few short months ago that Tiger Woods was barely even able to hit a golf ball. In December, Woods could barely chip let alone take a full swing with a club. Now, we are asking the question…Can Tiger Woods win the 2009 Masters?
I think the answer is pretty clear, yes and it’s not even going to be close. When Woods came back a few weeks ago he captured a modest tie for 9th place at the World Golf Championship. The telling thing was the Sunday charge. Even after knee surgery, he still has the Sunday charge. On Sunday, Woods fired a 4-under performance to close out with a 68. It was one of the best rounds played that day.
Fast forward two weeks and we have the Arnold Palmer Invitational. WOW, there is no question he is back. In typical Sunday fashion, he came from behind to take victory with a clutch birdie. The rest of the field didn’t have a chance… even though he did only win by one stroke.
Now that brings us to the upcoming Masters. I honestly think he is going to put a clinic on that we have not seen since he won his first Masters. If you have not cleared your schedule for that weekend, you may want to watch history unfold.
